The Mermaid Lotus (1969) was purchased from a wreckers yard in 1972. The stock mustard color
is not pictured here (luckily) but the first rebuild saw the addition of a flip back-end and the
flattening of the S-1 style wings, thus improving rear-view.
Prior to the blue paint on the second rebuild, the mermaid was added. Frame pix are from the Red third
rebuild and the rusty old pix are what was left of the frame prior to the present rebuild #4.
