The first stage of the transformation has taken place. Still needed are the pontoons and supports for them. Also the sail area was small although the boat still felt a bit scary in a gust. A new mast and boom will be installed next season together with a new sail. Still the wood and the varnish make this kayak a real beauty to behold although slower than the plastic type.
