Hi Tara! and anyone else tuned in. This Gallery is, or rather Will be made up of pictures and explanations of woodworking methods, tool usage and carpentry. So far the only project recorded, and only partly, is a recurve bow laminated out of local woods chosen for their color, weight and strength. The riser is made of aged spruce that has two colored grain areas, one red from milkrot and one green from an unknown aging source plus a layer of fir. These have been cured by drying and filling with linseed oil. The limbs are made of three layers of tamarack 1/16’ thick and laminated in a form.
